| What to do if you suspect someone of hacking/cheating on our servers | ||

| Guest | DO NOT SUBMIT VIDEOS IN THE CATEGORIES OF CLEAN, DIRTY, OR INCONCLUSIVE. THOSE CATEGORIES ARE AFTER REVIEW!! -CS- Servers are clean servers. We don’t hack, and we don’t expect our guests to. If you suspect someone of hacking on one of our servers, follow these steps to report them so that we can catch them! Yes, we know they ruin the game and having them sucks, but if we catch them then other servers will be clean and the whole community wins. 1. Do not call out the player in the game. 2. Immediately switch to spectator mode and spectate the suspected offender. 3. Open console by pressing ~ button. 4. Enter the command /record [players name] 5. Record player as long as possible. If the player dies, remember to seek them out again by pressing left or right mouse. 6. At the end of spectating the player use the TAB function to pull up the “Stats” menu to capture the players score and the relevant server information. 7. Once again enter into console using the ~ button. 8. Enter command /stoprecord 9. Copy the following text. Click on the link below to submit and enter in the relevant information. Player Name: [player name] Server IP: 8.6.8.100 Date/Time of Recording: DD/MM/YY Description of Behavior: (example) Player X was getting an abnormal amount of head shots and could apparently see through walls. 10. When posting the new thread be sure to upload the video using the “File Attach” option just above “Submit New Thread” 11. Keep patient. These files can sometimes take time to upload. 12. Do not flame someone in the thread accusing them. If there is some helpful bit of conversation that took place then you may report that, but the threads are not for flaming or abuse of players. A player is innocent until proven guilty. 13. Click here to submit demo. A -CS- Security officer will review the demo and determine if there is sufficient evidence to submit the video to PBBans for evaluation and addition to the MBL. If the video is found to be clean it will be moved into our “Clean Players” sub-forum. There will be no other action on this unless it is brought to light that we or PBBans missed something. If the video is found to contain a hack it will be moved to “Dirty Players” sub-forum. It will remain there unless PBBans informs us that the violation has been successfully appealed. We expect all accusations to be public and respectful. This is because we wish to demonstrate to the public what IS and is not cheating behavior. We feel that if someone is accused, they should be able to view the evidence against them and make it publically known that they are or are not cheaters. Once a player is determined no to be hacking/cheating we will not accept flaming of that player. Persons flaming, or disrespecting players cleared by us of PBBans will result in kick, then ban.
